I recently came into possession of a cat. Her name is Cleo and she's a Cymric (long-haired Manx), and she has /terrible/ mats all along her belly and back legs. They are impossible to brush out and cat skin is very delicate so I can't cut them out without risking cutting her either. I got quoted ~$250 from the vet to have her sedated and shaved, so that's my goal.
