Craveu https://www.weasyl.com/~craveu has thankfully done the math so you don't have to. A staggering 74 promises, from Fender's journals alone, have been broken, unfinished, or just flat out ignored. This isn't even counting anything any of the admins have said on their own account. Is that because they tell the truth? Absolutely not. Just not done counting the lies yet.

It's a shame though, I keep seeing comments like yours everywhere. If only there was some way to incentivise your followers to check you out here instead. I would have suggested offering a tiny discount to people who commission you here (and making people on FA aware of this as well), but it's probably not the best thing to do in your financial condition.

I could do it, but it'd seem a bit unfair honestly. I did try to get people to come follow me here but promoting new pieces here with only previews on FA, but people were getting mad saying i was spamming when I wasnt? and that they didnt feel like transfering sites for one artist

Those people were crappy customers anyway. Seriously, look at how many regular commissioners you have, and compare that group to the people who got mad at you. I suspect you'll find little overlap.

And I understand your problem as well. Someone with your talents shouldn't have a problem bringing their followers here though. I'm sure they'll take a second to switch to see your art if they're truly a fan of yours. I don't like seeing people's (not you) number one response to this always being "nobody is there," without realizing the only way to change that is to move.

Actually, Weasyl has a neat feature! They have two Twitter accounts that send out your work as tweets automatically if you tag them for critique. (One is safe and one is NSFW.) They even hash tag the tags you use. All automatically! It might nit be a huge boost but it really helps get your name out to strangers in a different way.

I'm pretty sure they'll update the site around the time Half Life 3 releases.
The update will be a new banner.-
I remember awhile back when they changed the dropdown menus to the top right instead of under the banner. They were making a big deal saying there was going to be so much improvement and they were updating the site and it was down for like, 2 or 3 days, and when it was back up all that changed was the menu was over on the right now. I was just like 'what??'
The site changed like, 2% since it was created back in 2005 or whatever its so dumb. Their auto response to WANTING updates is 'we;re working on it' and its so damn tiring now blah
TL;DR I will not be surprisd if any new 'big update' is the result of just a new damn banner

Hell, at this rate, I'm amazed they ever even change the banners at all. x.x; Too busy buying porn with donation money and making yet another furry convention because... reasons. xD
I used to really love the place, but ... I just don't know. I'm really, really glad I left now. Even if a tiny percentage of my watchers followed, it's just not worth it to stay in such a toxic environment. @~@ I hope you can make the move successfully too! I saw up above you're kind of stuck there. :<

Well I did but I had to go back :c I had a job over the summer so didnt need to do commissions that often. But since I lost it and I dont make enough here, I had to go back to FA. Even then though I'm having trouble getting back into the 'regular' flow there since I was gone for half a year

Ouch. x.x; That sucks... I really hope more people start coming over here, so you can move, and not have to deal with that crap! Sooo many people are stubborn and refuse to leave that broken junkpile of a site. Worse yet are the ones who guilt people into moving back over there, or harass people until they do... Bleh. The whole thing just makes me sad.

Yeah ... yeah. That's pretty much what I come up with too.
It's too bad, too, because their attitudes have been frustrating the community at large in subtle ways for years. Perhaps it's just my personal bias but it feels like the site is riddled with apathy, right down to "I don't want to make a new account elsewhere because um ....... ... remembering things is hard."
