Charity is deductible from taxes isn't it?
Since fA is not a profitable company and we don't get shown any receipts of the donations being made (specifically on fA's name) I'd assume that (assuming the money really was donated) it was on their own name.
On this case they could use it to deduct from taxes and technically not consider it taking money for themselves...
