Art Theives are Too Busy by sixrabbits

So, while I've been becoming more and more stressed about this week because it's going to suck and one of my favorite coworkers quit. She was such a sunny person, and she could honestly make me feel better about the day.
Then to add to it, I finally get a reply from the person who stole my work to post on a wiki page.

They basically said that they were too busy to credit me. Too busy to credit me for the creation of my work, but not too busy to edit the piece, post it on their wiki, and then tell me that they are "too busy". Wow, thanks for letting me know how much you value me as an artist.

That was basically a slap in the face. Come to find out, other artists are also messaging them about the same issue, going back a few years, and they give the same reply "This isn't my priority. I'm just too busy to give you credit".

I've gone in and marked my work for deletion. I'm not going to back down if they give me shit. I tried asking nicely, now I'm taking the reins and I will run your horse straight off a cliff if I have to.

Too busy. Well. Probably one of the most dismissive and scornful excuses I've heard a plagiarist say. Pretty much just a "Eh screw you, I only really care about the art and how good it'll make me look. Here's a flaccid, half-baked reason why I didn't give you credit while I ripped you off."

I'm sorry you have to deal with this right now. I have not personally had to worry about it yet (to my knowledge...) but the amount of bs, backtalk and stress an artist has to go through defending their own rights is criminal.

I really wanted to just believe that they were young and niave, but after that comment I'm done playing nice with them. I'm just glad they weren't profiting off my work, because that would probably break me at this point.
