Hi everyone! Been some months since I updated my journal, so I figured I'd write one up while I procrastinate on some homework.

First, thanks to all you guys for following me and my art! I've seen in increase in followers lately and I really appreciate that you guys took the time to look at my work and hit the "follow" button on my page. You guys are really great! Weasyl has a fantastic userbase and I love interacting with everyone and watching the site grow.

Healthwise, my condition has been doing pretty well, still on some medication for it but not nearly as much as I was taking in my last journal. Things are looking good! :)

The semester is almost over, just got two exams and one quiz to take, a 3-4 page paper to write, and a 20 minute presentation to give and I'll be done! Got my schedule for next semester set, and then about a year from now I'll be graduating from university with my Bachelor's! Art History major with an Art minor. Then on to Grad school, if I can figure exactly where I'll be going.

Most exciting (imo), I got a cat! His name is Teddy, and he's all black and 8 years old. I adopted him from the local Humane Society a little over a month ago. He is affectionate and loving and always makes me smile. Here are some pics: here, here again, and one more. I have never felt a connection with an animal like I have with this cat, it's really an amazing thing.

Art-wise, I do have a pretty detailed picture in progress but school and social life and taking care of Teddy have kept me busy from doing much besides sketches. I might upload the sketches just to have some art in my gallery though, idk. Was also thinking of re-drawing some of my old pics to see how much my art has changed.

That's all that's been going on, really. When school is over in about 3 weeks, I'll be right back into doing some art, so keep a look out! (Might take a trade or request or something in the next couple weeks since I heavily lack inspiration with my own characters :P)
