NaNoWriMo Week 2 by cuerva

Though I had a pretty rough start and I still can't portray my characters in a convincing way, I've managed to keep up with my wordcount so far. I'm only 200 or so words behind which is not so bad. Today I'll recover.

As I've reached the second week I've started to think maybe the story I'm trying to write is going to take me more than 50k words, I'm still unsure since I haven't quite figured out the "middle part" yet (but hey, at least I kinda know where I am going)

I'm considering maybe I should make this story of two parts, but I still don't know, however there are many important events that still have to take place and even though I tried to get into the plot asap, i still feel short of time. I know the second week is only starting but I'm unsure.

Anyway, hopefully I can keep up with this as I have so far, I'm slowly reaching that point where I dunno what the hell is going to happen so I'm getting nervous. I hope I don't get stuck. I have to remind myself that all I need to do is keep writing, even if I have no idea of what the hell I am doing or what is "supposed" to happen next. The important thing is to just keep going and I'm not entirely convinced (if at all) about how things are coming out, but then again this is just a first unrevised drabble, it doesn't have to be perfect or even good. I can fix it later as long as I have something to fix, that's why i must keep wwriting on and on, even if I don't like my characters, even if I don't like the way I'm going over the events of the story.

So, to all of us who are tackling NaNo, let's just keep writing. We'll worry about the details later.

I'm doing NaNoWriMo too. I'm so far behind now, several thousand words!

It's good to see other people who're working on it though, makes me want to try to catch up! Let's do this thing!
