November Health Update by FastWinger

Hi everyone, update time (Bit of a rant, sorry about that).

On October 29th I had an appointment where I found out my thyroid has started to destabilize again. My doctor increased my Synthroid medication, and I’ve been on the new dose for just over a week. I’ve been feeling a bit weird, but I just assumed it was my body adjusting.

Well, today sucked.

I have a fear of heights, and bridges, and my college has successfully incorporated both into its architecture. I like to think I have my fears mostly under control. I take a specific elevator and stairwell to my classes that are on the top floor, so I can avoid walking over the high walkway-bridges and travelling down hallways made of nothing but glass.

Today I had my usual class on the top floor, one I’ve been going to for over a year with very few problems. But today I had a full panic attack. I’m also having terrible brain fog that is starting to partially affect my vision, and make me dizzy. This just made my panic attack worse from being up so high.

Ever since my thyroid destabilized and my medication was increased, I’ve been having terrible anxiety, a foggy/sluggish thought process, and dizziness. I have to wait until Monday to call my doctor, but I need to ask what’s going on with my body.

I’m hoping everything will get better when my body adjusts to the new dosage, and things stabilize again, but I really hate feeling this way.
