I’m writing to let folks know that my current situation has been altered significantly. My living situation—which was temporary to begin with—came to an abrupt and unexpected end a couple of days ago…and for the time being, I am pretty much free-floating. I am working as hard as I possibly can to remedy this situation as soon as possible.

For the time being, my internet access will be extremely limited. If anyone would like to contact me, please do so through the email address cashew@macrophile.com. I will be able to check it at least once a day, and will respond to any correspondence there as quickly as I possibly can.

If there is anyone out there who has a spare laptop computer they can part with, it would be extremely helpful to me. I wouldn’t need anything fancy, just a bare-bones computer with which I can perform online research and a job search. If you have a piece of equipment you can spare—or know someone who might be able to help—please contact me at cashew@macrophile.com.

I’m safe and have shelter for the time being, and have access to internet connectivity where I am—I just don’t have a computer with which I can do so. Any help anyone can extend would play help to play a major role in turning my current life situation around. Even if you personally can’t help, a signal boost for this message would be greatly appreciated.
