Earning Experience During Season 4 by FHL

Hello to all Players, GMs, and Commissioners, and I hope you all are raring to go for Season 4 of the the Furry Hockey League, which opens it's season on monday! As a help to all the players out there, the commissioners decided it would be a good idea of doing a refresher on how people can gain EXP through performance, or through contribution! So with out further adieu, here is that summary.

PERFORMANCE

GAME STARS

The main way to earn from player performance is through Game Stars. Like the NHL is in real life, each game will have the three top performers of the night elected as stars of the game, and each earn a small amount of experience from earning the game star during the night.

Players are awarded 300 EXP for a first star, 200 EXP for a second star, and 100 EXP for a third star.

Once all simming is done, there will also be Game Night Stars, showcasing the three top stars of the night, who will have their names and faces(if Icon Available) posted on the Game summary. Those players gain an 1000 EXP award for the night.

HAT-TRICKS

Any player that completes a hat-trick during a game is awarded 1000 EXP

SHUTDOWN GOALIE & DEFENSE

If at any time during the season a team shuts out an opponent, all defenders who played during the game are awarded 700 EXP and the goalie or goalies that we're in the net are awarded 1000 EXP.

ACHIEVEMENTS

As a way to increase player participation and to give more growth options to players, the Achievement Sheet was created during Season 2. The Achievement sheet is a set of goals that when completed, award the player experience points, which accumulate until the end of the year. These player sheets are to be kept up by their players, although a team may do so if they wish.

For anyone who is interested in keeping an Achievement sheet, copy the blank here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1rc9-QWIjYCZba3butaZMIV6wLSVZ6zLqWJRbbO_QWLE/edit#gid=1428820378

Please note, if you started an achievement sheet in an earlier season, we ask that you keep using it for the upcoming season.

CAPTAIN AND ASSISTANT CAPTAIN AWARDS

At the end of the season, players who are captains or assistant captains of their teams are awarded a small bonus(800 for Captians, 500 for Assistant)

SEASON AWARDS

Players who are awarded end of season or playoff honors gain a small EXP bonus.

On top of earning through performance there are a few ways you can earn EXP by contributing to the league.

CONTRIBUTION

ART/STORY/WRITING/ROLE-PLAY CONTRIBUTIONS

As the league is a league of people, we are always happy to see going ons with players lives, both on an off the ice. Thus, if any sort of art, story, or role-play is done with your skater or skaters featured, let us know, and we will add it to the League favorites to showcase. You will also earn a small EXP reward as thanks.

REFERRAL BONUS

The FHL is a league of people who love hockey, without them, we would not have the community we have today, and we are always happy to welcome new people to the league! As an incentive for bringing people in, players who refer other people to the league get a 350 EXP Referral Bonus.

SIMMING

Without the help of the many simmers within the league, the process of the season would be much slower and less exciting. At the current time, we are looking for more simmers to help ease the burden on thoes that sim, and off a small amount of accumulating experience for those that constantly volunteer. If people are interested in simming, note the FHL, or contact Kenku on FA or William on FB.

PODCASTING

The FHL would like to have a podcast going, and will happily support one if there is someone who wishes to put in the time. Players and agents who participate in podcasts will earn EXP bonuses as well.
