    I can see how thumbnails can be used to great effect, centering focus on important areas or highlighting details of a certain pictures. Hell, those thumbnails are small and you probably want to make them look interesting. And maybe having a lot of the picture cropped out adds some mystic to the picture, maybe the image is supposed to surprise you by design.
    BUT A SUPER ZOOMED-IN FACE DOES NOT A GOOD THUMBNAIL MAKE. I should be clicking on a pic because it warrants my interest, NOT BECAUSE I CAN ONLY SEE 10% OF IT. seriously.

    That said I just let weasyl do it's thang half the time and have it make up thumbnails itself.

    It annoys me quite a bit. Makes me wish there were an easy way to preview the image without clicking on it.

    I always do it with any NSFW picture. I try not to do it with everything, though.

    I used it for NSFW picture... well I learn couple thing reading the comments :3
    but I feel it kinda useless since there is SFW filter... so I will start use it like LaserHanon said :)
