Depression and other mental illnesses are the worst. Because people don't see it, they can't understand that you are sick. :I
As for recognition, it's hard to get a foot in that door, I've found, and I get really depressed when I make a journal asking a question or looking for input and get 0 responses... it's a bit disheartening.
I'd blame it on the size of the community here on weasyl, but even when I had hundreds of watchers on FA, I got nothing heh. x.x
Keep your chin up, though. And I hope you can get a hold of your depression and kick its ass.
