Four features I use here that FA lacks are:

• The ability to filter Notes by Username to find all the correspondence from one person. So it's easier to find who said what.
• The Submission gallery can be organized via folders.
• Personalized Banners
• Journals can be limited to 'Friends' only, which is allows me to stop spamming as much people with more personal journals.

Another is that depending on settings, you can allow anyone to add tags (Similar to e621) except you can veto on what tags get put onto your art. (Unlike e621.) The downside to both sites, is that my favourite artists are on Sofurry.
