Why be ashamed of making plans? I want to do all this! :D

Okay, this year, my main number one goal is to get Auran Connection published. It's a lofty, very difficult goal to achieve within one year, but it is not impossible. I've got a draft edited and ready, an artist interested in illustrating, and a synopsis almost complete. Potential publishers are already targeted, and I'll be looking for more soon. No better time than now to get moving.

As for other things to complete this coming year...

There are three anthologies seeking short stories, and I've already planned out what to submit to them. Two stories have been outlined, and another is complete but needs editing. One of these stories has tremendous potential to become a series because the world it takes place in is ripe with ideas and the characters are fun to ponder about.

With that in mind, I've been contemplating the thought of submitting material to comic anthologies as well, such as Furrlough. I haven't written comic material in a while, but there are a couple of ideas I've been thinking of that could fit there.

I've also accepted my first-ever story commissions, which will be started in January. If this works out, I may offer story and art commissions soon.

FWA is in March, and once again I plan to attend and get a seat in the Artist Alley.

Auran Legend is being edited right now, and there's a chance I might be able to submit it to a publisher within the year if I can get everything prepared in time. It's much shorter than Connection, so there's a good possibility. I'm also going to seek out an artist for this.

I'd like to return to the PCA, too. My runs through Pokemon White and White 2 have given me some ideas, and I've already got a compelling story that I'm anxious to write. Team Indigo's got one last secret to struggle with, and they're being targeted by a dangerous megalomaniac-in-training. With this, I also hope to do a new group pic of the team, complete with updated (and more stylish) uniforms.

On the art front, I have another friend of Melon who is ready to debut (I created this character years before even Remy, so it's about time I draw her)

Lastly, I've started on yet another Auran novel. There's still some plot details to finalize, as well as a ton of research to do, but when you're a librarian you have plenty of resources available. The first chapter has begun and already I've realized I need to go back and rewrite it =p Business as usual, for this type of thing.
