As if things couldn't get any worse...

has aggressive B cell lymphoma (also called Burkitt's lymphoma). They are going to give her a light chemo treatment tonight. If she responds well, then they will start major chemo treatments on Friday. This, however is a high risk treatment. Ie. high risk of infection (which she has any way from perforated intestine) due to decreased immunity system. This is her best chance of recovering. If they did nothing, she would die within 2 months. I talked my sister-in-law Sher, who looked it up. Apparently this type is rare, only about 1200 people in the US get it. But about half do survive to live a long life.

Again tell who you must and you know the rest (keep in prayers and good thoughts).

I apologize for the repeated journals lately. This will be the last one I do. If I post anymore from this point forward, it will be because I've either lost her, or the treatments have worked. If anyone wants to be be informed of her updates from here on our, send an email to me bobbythornbody[at]yahoo[dot]com
