This Saturday is the most important American holiday: 24 Hour Comic Book Day. It's a day where, if you have the time, you sit down and try to hash out 24 pages of comics in 24 hours. Finished if possible.
24 Hour Comic Book Day has been really, really good for me as far as creating comics goes. Instead of using it as an opportunity to make a finished comic, I attempt to make a solid first draft, and it's worked out pretty well so far.
So I thought to myself: "Why not just try to make as many 24 hour comics in the month of October as you can?"
A few caveats: I'm going to try to be as healthy as I can about this, which means not doing two days in a row, and trying to rest as much as I can on in-between days. Besides the actual event on Saturday, I'm going to disregard one of the major rules, as well: No preparation going into the event is allowed. On my other comics I'm going to be using scripts, layouts and rough drafts to make working, decent-ish looking comics if I can!
My goal is to rough out 200 pages of comics in the month of October. I am PLANNING on having 72 pages of pornography, making it possible to have a 100 page eBook for the first volume of Cutie Explosion. There's a very real chance that more than 72 pages will be porn. It's entirely possible that all 200 pages will be porn.
HOPEFULLY you enjoy the product I create. Not every one will be for everyone. It's going to be a mix of gay, straight, furry, human and monster porn (sometimes all 3!) but I may as well give it a shot.
If anyone else wants to attempt the arduous task of trying to Iron Man 24 Hour comic Month with me it'd be fun to have a comic pal, at least on any given day (I'm going to try to make stuff at least every Wednesday and Saturday)
