!!NOW FOR THE NEWS!!

FIRST OFF puppies are doing okay, they like doubled in size past what we already thought was close to their final weight. Lucky for us they still weigh 9.6 (banjo) and 6.4 (baxter), the only real downside is that banjo is getting tougher to run around w/ under one arm after an extended period haha/ (and hes also past my mothers post-op weight limit)

I AM PROBABLY MOVING TO AN APARTMENT within 2 months, we already basically picked it and everything.. it's mostly me postponing as long as I can. But this also means that I really really would appreciate commissions/signal boosts more than ever. I really appreciate even the least expensive options, that's why they're there!!

my dad bought everyone the new iphone for release-day delivery, and I was like eh on the color (got me the gold, and it felt way too feminine for my comfortzone tbh) but also I mean I was fine with keeping it because I need a new phone, and I said as much, but the next day he ended up setting it up so he could exchange it asap. I would feel HORRIBLE but he really likes doing this kind of shit haha, it gives him something interesting to do.

I set up my manga bookshelves! And am starting to slowly fill the gaps in my collections. expensive, slow process. and to top it off apparently a lot of them are now OUT OF PRINT so what I thoguht would be cheaper, older manga is now limited supply |8888
I'm barely back into the drawing groove, I'm either sleeping or laying down almost 24/7 and it's getting reallllly bad. BUT I AM drawing more, if only a little. Thank god, I felt soooo out of practice and wonky.

I fell behind on comments again, for that I'm sorry but I am trying my best to reply to everything I can.

    Yeah...that's the worst...especially with certain companies like TokyoPop out of business. Dark Horse Comics has kinda re-translated/re-collected almost all the CLAMP manga that TokyoPop did. Do you have any particular titles you're interested in? I am trying to get rid of a lot of my older manga, but I would prefer them to go to good homes rather than taking them somewhere where they would be unappreciated. Let me know...some of what I'm getting rid of may be things you need! grins

      WAIT TOKYO POP WENT OUT OF BUSINESS???? WHAT WHEN WHAT... I've been out of the loop for years, which is one reason why I'm at the point where so many things are gone ;m;;;;

      and ooooh lord I have a loooong list, how many titles are you tryin to lose? basic ones I need are like naruto and inuyasha lmao, the most hole-filled of all. then like 07 ghost, a wise man sleeps...
      thats off the top of my head haha.

        Yep...TokyoPop went bankrupt--they didn't pay their creators (for the original series they started), they didn't pay up on their licences for manga and they tried to purchase too many titles without finishing them. Like DelRey/Kodansya USA finished translating the last 3 volumes of "Rave Master" when TokyoPop went under.

        The company that originally translated "07-GHOST" also went out of business (which sucked, because I also loved Duo Brand's "CrossXBreak" which was being translated by them), but now VIZ is translating the series, it's up to volume 9 or 10 so far under VIZ's translations. VIZ won't sell individual volumes of old things like "Ranma 1/2" or "Inu-Yasha" anymore, so you can only purchase those in 3-in-1 collection volumes.

        The majority of my titles are yaoi titles, but I have like a few volumes of "Arata" and "Gate 7", because I didn't like them. But...I also have coupons and cards for my local bookstores (I can usually get most manga at half-off), too. When I have time and all, I could always also go buy some volumes of things at the bookstores. If you ever wanted to do like a "trade for art" someday when your financial situation looks better, too...I would be happy to go book-hunting for things you need that are still being sold like "07-GHOST" and "Inu-Yasha" in exchange for art/sketches. So you can keep that in mind as an option. I'll go home and make a list of what I have to get rid of...and you can also let me know if you're interested in those things. chuckle I really like helping people...especially when it comes to books and manga!
