I really really want to go visit my bff in indiana, but she lives nowhere close to anything fun to do so I would like to be able to have the extra cash to take us to the capital, which is like a 2 hour drive from her.

I'm only on tumblr, and it's not separated from my personal blog haha. I used to have a separate art blog, but I never passed 50 or so followers so it was kind of a demotivater. I started drawing a lot more/better when I deleted it.
Plus literally NONE of them interacted with me anyway hahaaa.
I actually have more of an active following on here than I ever did on deviantart (and FA), and I absolutely hate the layout of FA so when this site opened I was thrilled because it's exactly what I've always wanted from an artsite.-
Ah I see :). FA... just the site is really overall bleh. Apparently it is good for selling art assuming you'll do fetish and general porn but just lot of sleazy community activities and sketchy coding x-x. Deviantart I like though at least the art aspect, tumblr is more for random things with posting my art there as a secondary thing. I love here though, I wish more folks were motivated to make this place a little more active at least (I wouldn't want it getting FA big because again... that's where the assholes show up to ruin the party!)

DA has a worse community than FA, at least with FA there's a general sense of 'we all belong here' haha. The underpricing toxicity is at its lowest on there, too. Which is why I got out of there, I was tired of people not understanding the value of hard work!!
I have no issue with porn, even some fetishes, but unless I'm being paid for it I dont really get the urge to draw it all that often so I dont have a ton of examples. buhhhhhh

Yeah, the only other places I'm at besides here, tumblrland and DA is Wysp which I'm pretty sure was never a site made with the idea of becoming a huge community so yeah. Not sure if that's the one you're talking about or something else. FA does seem to have a better overall community. DA it seems to depend strongly by where you go and how inviting it is for certain people seems to fluctuate every second day. Like since we're on a site where its relevant I mean half the time you make a topic about furries everyone is on the hate train of furries and then 2 days later someone else makes a topic of furries and everyone supports them. I really don't know if we cycle through regulars that quickly or just most users are parroting whatever opinion was first stated in the topic and honestly can't form their own. Its real annoying though.

oh man... I forgot about wysp, is it very active? I remember signing up but I never actually started using it!! I'm gonna go set up haha, it's Xanderless btw if you're interested lmao.
Theres another site I recently got linked to actually that's mainly a portfolio site, so while I have an account I'm not comfortable posting just yet. It's called DrawCrowd.
I'm ok with just here and tumblr tbh, its a lo more relaxing. Just wish there was a way to get more exposure ehg.-
Ah, it seems less active than here by a bit but perhaps I'm just not getting into the wysp community enough to see more going on :o I should do that!
DrawCrowd sounds neat, I'm not sure I'd joined something like that because I'm not a hoity toity type artist if that makes any sense ._. I draw as a kinda casual hobby so going among professional makes me stand rather a lot.
Tumblr is great as noted in my other reply, as long as you avoid the drama with like 14 year old edgykids vs. 14 year old SJW you're usually having a great time.

good luck getting some commissions ;3;. Though that does remind me: do you host your art anywhere else? I can't recall if you've mentioned it. I'm reminded because I figure you probably have more luck on bigger sites finding people with the monies.
