As the title says, I'm getting settled into my new home and job. I'm living with my best friend ShadowEon and her mom, and I'm a bit overwhelmed by how kind and hospitable they are, and how they've really opened up their home to me. Like, I'm not used to other people going out and buying me food. ;-; <3 I LOVE the area, too. Nice neighborhood, close to everything I need, and not too far from some gorgeous parks and forests.

As for the new job, today was my second day at the auto center. I'm not a certified tech, so I'm doing things like oil changes, tire balancing/changing, and other smaller things. I still get to use the mechanical experience/knowledge I've gained over the years, so it makes me happy. :)

On the personal side, I'm still single, but I'm not even looking. I'm just living life for me for a change. Thinking more about my divorce, it really did start when my ex joined the Navy against my warnings that it would change her. I tried to live with the changes, but I just couldn't. I missed her positive energy and sweet innocence from before, and I subconsciously clung to other girls who had those same qualities, and in the end, leaving her was the best decision I could have made, and probably should have left her sooner.

SO YEAH. Life is awesome right now. :3
