Please DO NOT ASK ME TO FURSUIT OVER SKYPE! ESPECIALLY IF I DON'T KNOW YOU! Getting into fursuit isn't exactly the easiest thing, most of the zippers are on the back, so it's fairly time consuming to do.

I've ordered all of mine, but the best tip I can give is the duct tape dummy. Not every maker asks for them, but they're much more accurate for body measurements than the old measuring tape.

I don't mind showing off the suits in photos, just not a big skype call person, much easier to show it off at a con than over a webcam.

Ah that is very true. I've seen plenty of them posted online and always marvel at them. I know this will seem a bit personal to ask, and I mean no offense what-so-ever by it, but how much did your suit costs? I have a friend who is getting one and hers is around $2000 (reasons why I wanna learn to make my own, I don't have time to save up cash like that x'D )

Good ones cost around 2,000 and up, depending on maker and character complexity.

Would we be allowed to ask for tips? (I've always wondered how they are made, and I've considered making one myself, but I never dare ask on how they are made or anything TTwTT )
