Hello all! With the Draft completed and teams beginning to get organized for the upcoming regular season, it is time we announced our soon to start Off Season tournament! The Furry Hockey World Tournament!

The FHWT is a hockey tournament that will pit teams of various nations against each other, in a quest to make the team of their region rise to the top and claim the title of World Tournament Champions, and hoist the World Hockey Trophy!

Teams will play a round robin or intra-regional playoff depending on their qualifier, before facing off against each other in a single elimination final playoff to determine the winner. The three qualifier are as follows.

INTERNATIONAL CUP

Teams in the International Bracket will face off against each other in a 6 regional team round robin tournament, each team playing against each other once. The top for teams in the round robin go to the International Playoff round, and face each other in a single elimination battle. The Winner of the International Playoff will win the International Tournament Cup, and will face the North American Finals winner in the World finals!

Independent Alliance coached by D.L. Leonine
Scandinavia coached by Croco
Western Europe coached by Jackknight

CANADIAN CUP

Due to the number of FHL skaters of Canadian Descent, it was decided a Canadian Cup would be created! Players from there have been divided into two teams by season 4 conferences, and have the two teams be pit against each other in a Best of 5. The winner of the best of 5 will face the winner of the American Cup in the North American Finals

The two teams competing for the Canadian Cup are as follows:

Canada Red(Western Conf) coached by SierraRacs
Canada White(Eastern Conf) coached by Kalleo

AMERICAN CUP

As with the Canadian team, the number of American players lead to the creation of a 4 team divisional split. American players will play on one of 4 teams, divided among them by the 4 Divisions of season 4. The teams will play each other once, and the winning team out of the round robin will face the Canadian Cup Winner in the North American Finals.

The four teams competing for the American Cup are as follows:

US Red(Atlantic) coached by kenku
US White(Appalachia) coached by Pheagle
US Blue(Mountain) coached by Sly
US Gold(Western) coached by Akamai

NORTH AMERICAN AND WORLD FINALS

Once the qualifying tournaments are completed, the American and Canadian Cup winners will face off against each other in a North American Final, to which the winner will face the winner of the International Final, in a single elimination world final to determine who shall take the World Hockey Trophy!
