Half a year has now passed since I began my diet. That's a total of 26 weeks now. I've had a lot of ups and downs, a few high losses, a few low ones, and even a few weeks where I gained weight, but, with now having just weighed myself I wanted to share:
I started this at 327.6 pounds back around the middle of February. Now, six months later, I am down to 279.6. That is a total loss of 48 pounds.
I admit it's not near as much as I was hoping to have lost by this point, but, given my lifestyle, and how little time I spend doing things outside of the house (aside from my treadmill walking, which I've been kinda lax on the last few weeks) I have to say I think I'm doing decent. Not GREAT by any means, but I'm still proud of myself.
This is the longest I've ever stuck to an attempt at weight loss, and, while I'm sure many people would have lost a lot more doing it, I feel pretty good that I've gotten this far. Seriously, just getting under 300 felt great, and I'm fairly sure I'm only one more week away from hitting my 50 pound loss.
Anyway, that's all... Just felt like sharing.
