Disgaea and Skyrim.

Disgaea and Skyrim.

You need to play...

...Disgaea and Skyrim.

Note that I didn't say "Dissidia" for all the staunch Final Fantasy haters. Lol.

Disgaea is an anime-inspired "isometric view" strategy RPG series that's only marginally like Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together. Every character can level up to 9999, and then start over from Level 1, but more powerful via "transmigration", and level up to get even stronger the next time.

Skyrim ...is that game where furries only play as 2 to 3 (2/3 to 6?) of its 10 available races, where you can add things from the internet to it from places like Steam and loverslab.com nexusmods.com.

I recommend the first Disgaea for PSP, "Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness", first, but if you have a PS2 you can play the original PS2 version of it (which has less features), subtitled "Hour of Darkness". You can also find Part 2 for both the PS2 and PSP, Part 3 (which I've never played) for the PS3 only, and the glorious Part 4 - "Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten" - only for the PS3.

And I recommend that you buy Skyrim. Lol...

Disgaea and Skyrim. Level up, level up, and level up some more. <33333

I used to love playing Skyrim, but then it got to easy running around as my Redguard in full enchanted glass armor with a flame enchanted sword one shotting bears and sabertooth cats. Race wise its fun to run around as a Khajit but as everyone knows unless your going thief or assassin its harder until end game because of the low class bonuses in combat and magic.

I might pick it up again and try for something like a mage run, which will be hard as balls compared to what it was like in Oblivion to play magic user (no dragons to remind you just how "squishy" you are). Otherwise I'll try for a warrior run and just balance my skills and raise the difficulty as needed.

It's the modding scene that I'm coming to see is very interesting with Skyrim. Of course there's the possibility of overmodding it, but if you properly follow the directions of mods and have the right mod programs, everything will run fine depending on your hardware also. I don't say that from experience. I haven't yet used a more "extensive" mod (I want to incorporate the various facets of "SkyRe" (Skyrim Redone) in it, where it has an all new perk tree and new perk categories! :D). I'm referring to the many people who have modded their Skyrims extensively, but haven't suffered too many problems, if any.

Being a lover of Sega Genesis and MS-DOS graphics, I can really dig when a deep fantasy game has great graphics. I like the "Pure Waters" mod. It might not sound like much, but walking around looking at clear water in-game is just a nice convenience. I also want to look into the "Sounds of Skyrim" mods that add ambiance to various areas. I think Oblivion had a mod like that. I know Morrowind had some. :D

But beyond graphics, there's the mods that alter combat. If you look up mods in the Steam Workshop, you might find some mods that alter the way the physics are handled, or the way the AI behaves. But you'd have far more luck searching for those on http://www.nexusmods.com/ They have many mods that aren't included in the Steam Workshop. And there's other websites that host mods too. :)

I need to actually get [specific features of] SkyRe into my Skyrim already. I haven't installed any mod but the pure waters one, and I want to experience the in-depth changes to the game.

Skyrim Redone is a massive overhaul of the game. And I found three others that also overhaul the game, called "Skyrim Unleashed", "Requiem", and "SPERG". They seem to be the biggest ones.
