BBC's Hard Talk: the 'Falklands Issue' by Deviantmarshal

On TV recently was the BBC's Hard Talk show, this time around with Jan Cheek (i think was her name...), a MLA (Member of the Legeslative Assembly) in the Falkland Islands Government.

I couldn't help watching it, the guy doing the interview was throwing question after question at her (pretty much to the same extent of basically subtly trying to tell her the falklands are pointless and are a waste of time defending <f**kno.avi>) And she held her ground, she spoke for all of us in the Falklands and by G-O-D she did it pretty damn well..

The thing is now, Argentina is somewhat split on what to do aobut the Falklands. the majority (everyone who isn't high-up or politically stinted) says to just leave them be and sort out argentina first. the rest say to take them at any and all costs. (funny that. :/)

here in the falklands, contrary to popular belief, we're getting on very well. No aid ships needed thank you, no 'help the beguiled falklands' aid requests nessesary.. XD

You guys (my watchers) know i'm very patriotic really. I would never see an argentine flag over the Falklands in my lifetime, and certainly not afterwards. As much as people want the Uk and Argentina to talk about it, its pointless if the only outcome argentina will accept is that the falklands are literally handed to them. Nothing else will suffice, niet, nada, nout, nothin. yet the whole world is calling for it, and .... well.. try forcing water to spontaniously combust just because its possible when its split into its componant parts.. (short: Try making water burn just because it can burn when its Oxygen and Hydrogen)

It just isn't going to work.

I'll keep you guys posted as usual with bits from this topic. I might be able to find the interview on youtube..
