Finally I have a chance to sit down and write up a con report!

It was absolutely wonderful socially speaking. Last year I was tucked away from my usual friend group, but this year was able to sit nearby everyone, which made it easier to sneak away and say hello. Plus I had awesome neighbors! There were so many talented people there this year, I feel so fortunate to work along side and have a friendship with such incredible artists <3

Business wise, it was a strange one. I'm not going to go into too much detail since others have already pointed out the slow sales and commissions not filling up like usual. I ran into the same issue, and was really worried by Saturday that this was going to be a fail. Luckily, Sunday's sales made up for Friday and Saturday.

Overall I think RMFC went well this year. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, I always appreciate the support, it really does keep me going year to year! Over this last weekend I've talked with several others about doing some out of state conventions, and had some great advice and ideas. Thank you all so much for the encouragement and tips! This weekend has left me with a lot to consider in the areas of cons and project ideas.

As for the commission queue - it mostly consists of custom pendants, which is great because I've been itching to paint the new pieces, which should be released online in September! These last several days have been -very- strange and mentally taxing, so catching up in life has been slow. I think the work schedule is still on track though, customers will, as usual, be updated through email.
