Vastness by GuzzleMuzzle

This will come off as obtuse to some of you. I'm not exactly the brightest of people.

Sorry for the lack of new writings, but one reason I haven't had any to post is because I just haven't been as inspired lately. Add to that the fact that, when it comes down to it, "art" is shifting in new directions, and also that it seems like many of us are coming to see that some of the things we call(ed) "art" are indeed either horrifying to us, or seemingly "not our cups of tea" - that varies by the artist/writer/musician/crafter/etc.

Monster loving people - like me... - might seem a little less enthusiastic about the same these days, or others may have come into a love of such things in artful themes. A lot of what we love, however more or less, comes from what's "going strong" in the media at the time, of course, but also because of what's going on wherever we live.

Vastness.

One annoying, honestly stupid habit of mine - immaturity - is thinking I have any such "seniority" over anyone. I'm sure you can deduce where such a personality trait would come from in just a few seconds. I'm not 'bigger' than anyone. I'm 'smaller' than most, and haven't seen nor experienced a lot of what other people dearly love, both from when I was younger, and from the recent decade-and-a-half-give or take.

Music? Most people have grown up with so much different music, but I only remember what I heard in computer games and from music files found during the 90's. I realize that that's not, quote, "abnormal", but it doesn't seem as common as having grown up listening to several music CDs by several artists. A lot of you guys' art streams are really fun because you know about music that I either vaguely grew up with, or never knew about. XD <3

This is a bit of a rambling session, but what I mean to...express...is that the world is vast. That's not a matter of "stating the obvious" when you consider that some people's knowledge of this entails less than agreeable things where other people's well-being is concerned. We love "art" and nod to what inspires us and moves us in trying not to impose any real harm on others.

Was talking over Skype with a really good friend about Dino Crisis 1, 2, and 3 (I never played Part 3. :P ), and looking up old games and new music together. Hey! If you've played Dino Crisis 1 before, you'll remember this CREEPY track! (You've been forewarned in emboldened text. XD).

I have a feeling that's not the actual name of this track... XD
