Exhausted by Aldin

Guess it's my turn to add something here.

I hope all my "local" furry friends (local as in New England) who are down to the Maltese Furcon in Boston are enjoying themselves.

Me? I was busy at the local scout camp, that was a little short of help this week. I drove down after work on Friday, washed dishes until 8:30 or so. Then, being a glutton for punishment, this very diurnal person helped with an all night event. At a break in said event, I played a round of cribbage with another leader and barely beat him. You don't know how much of a challenge playing a game of cribbage while sleep deprived can be. It was the luck of the cut on one hand (doubling my hand to 16) that allowed me to squeak by him. I got maybe 90 minutes of sleep between 3:30 and 5 or so. Made several (didn't count) pots of coffee. Washed more dishes until 9:30am while dodging around National Guard detail that was arriving in camp to provide some much need maintenance work. They arrived as the campers were packing and leaving. Finally, put the car on "auto drive" (as in this trip back and forth to the local camp is driven so often that I, apparently, can do it when not really awake) for the 20 minute ride home. Quick shower, then crashed until 5pm this evening awaking to the smell of grilled meat (thanks to my wife).
