It's been ages since I last posted a journal on here, so I figure "Why not?" and post about something special I did last night. :)

Fur Affinity user Yarrick wanted to shoot a couple scenes for a video that promotes the upcoming Furry Migration convention in September, and given how it was open to just about any fur in the local area that had a fursuit, this was my chance to put my fursuit to the test, so I willingly volunteered for it. :)

The other participants at the shoot were FA users gethim (aka Norm) and Drake McCloud, and it took place on a stretch of road that was practically abandoned and where no one else could see us. Yarrick directed the shoot by first having me and Drake dress up in our full suits and stand next to Yarrick's car so we could hold onto a map and look into it, pretending as though we were lost trying to find our way to the convention. Then Yarrick had me sit in the passenger seat of his car and pretend to keep on examining the same map for a while, comically looking at it upside down and doing other things. Finally, Norm sat in the driver's seat while he and I were studying the map, pointing at it repeatedly and making up our actions as we went along until Yarrick got what he needed for the footage. Given how tall the antlers on my fursuit's head is, it wasn't easy getting into the car at first, but I managed it just fine. This whole shoot took roughly 45 minutes.

This was the very first time I got to wear my full fursuit, and it felt great. ^^ The only assistance I needed was to get the zipper on my back zipped all the way up and tuck the handpaws inside both sleeves, and Norm was very helpful for that.

I've been told that the final video will be ready soon, probably sometime by the end of this week. Once it's ready, I will definitely post a link to it in another journal. :)
