Hello everyone!

I'm sorry for the quietness and lack of updates lately. I'll be posting the remainder of the chapters I have done for Children of the Light shortly. I have up to Chapter 33 done, but after that, there will be an unknown amount of time before any more is posted...

The reason? Well, there has been some changes with the story. I've come to the realization that this tale is much too long for it to ever fit in one book. Thus, I'm breaking it up into a trilogy, as the story has 3 distinct changes in direction along the way. I have actually finished the very rough draft of Book 1, the end of which is Chapter 31. I will go ahead and post Ch. 32 & 33, which is technically the first 2 chapters of Book 2, but I suppose it helps to tie up some potential loose ends and serves to introduce a hint of the major changes to come.

But the reason for the pause is that, first-college starts for me again in a month and my semester will be incredibly busy. Second-I will be working to edit the mess that is Book 1-there is so much that I left out, trying to keep it short, that i kinda butchered the story a bit. I need to develop my characters better, develop the back story better, among other things. Some of the edits may change the future books, so I wanted to get this done before spending too much time writing the next chapters...I really don't want to put myself in the position of having to re-write them after the fact.

So...I'm on a bit of a hiatus as far as posting chapters past ch. 33 goes. But the story will eventually continue! If anyone is curious about the story, you can always note me-I love talking about my stories as it helps me iron out details that may need more attention. If there are any particular points you have seen that I need to work on for this first part of the story, please let me know! I'd love to come out of this venture with a story worth publishing!
