Weasyl already going the way of FurAffinity? by Arcturus

I mean, that's how it seems to be heading.

Nebulous policies, constant and nonsensical revisions of 'guidelines' and first and foremost:

A distinct lack of increasing usefulness of existing features, nor an increase in new and useful features.

...I had hope, but maybe it was misplaced. Come ON, guys. Get it together.

It's difficult to judge since... I haven't been following the development of the site from day 1 and looked down on it cynically since all the other competing websites had to make concessions or exist in a different "format" from FA or close their doors..

So all I can do really is guess that the worst thing they're suffering from is only having time to work on the website in free time or something??

I'm sure there have been plenty of offers of help, though. There are a lot of coders out there, good ones, wanting to see an alternative to FA succeed.

      Good policymakers too.

        It is difficult to speculate!

All that can be done for someone like me is to wait.

I would agree.. If you weren't forgetting that the site is in the beta stage.

Just because they say it's a 'beta' doesn't mean that it really is, or even that it's an excuse.

After all, a site could just claim to be in perpetual beta and use that as an excuse.

I mean, just take a look at google. Most of their products are technically still in beta.

        Very true.

But I like to give the benefit of the doubt for things that haven't been in the same stage of beta for a long period of time. (Having just entered an Open Beta after a Closed one, it's still an acceptable reason for me, for now.)
