"Request to Collect" feature? by quaggy

I just wanted to note that I think it'd be great if Weasyl had a feature where you could request to collect a submission, rather than it having to be offered to you! Like, it would still have to be approved by the artist, but it'd just be nice to not have to always put in the comments of things of/for you, "Hey can you offer this to me as a collection?"

Does anyone else think this would be useful?

This would be real nice, because if an artist who didn't have a Weasyl suddenly gets one and uploads stuff, it makes life easier on you

I usually just comment and ask, and it gets done, since they still have to see it and approve to :P BUT, that would make it a bit easier! At least Weasyl considers these kind of requests and puts them into effect (even if progress is reeeeeeaaaalllly slow)

This is definitely on our list! Apologies it hasn't been added yet, but personally I totally agree this would be useful!

BTW if you have other feature suggestions, you're always welcome to add or comment on them on our public bug tracker at https://redmine.weasyl.com/projects/weasyl
