What? The Evil Author (tm) behind the squirrel is finally allowed his first week-long vacation since last July?!?! How did his employer mess up and allow that to happen?!

Plans?
A couple days at a lakeside cabin 5 miles into the Maine woods from the nearest state road. Hopefully, the woods road remains passable after Hurricane Arthur passes off-shore tonight. Otherwise, it'll be a five mile hike in. (Note to self, pack using the backpack!) No power, no running water. May not even have cell reception (if I bring the emergency tracfone).

One day set aside to play "Tourist" with my wife in Portland.

Next weekend at the Moxie Festival in Lisbon Falls (Maine) for a few hours (until I can't stand the crowds anymore).
