[Content Ratings Update] They Have Altered the Rules... by Manji
Prey they do not alter them again...
So, following in kind with the new update on content ratings (https://www.weasyl.com/help/ratings/changes), I have altered my gallery's submissions to be congruent with Weasyl's standards of the appropriate content ratings...
Unfortunately this means that since anything that shows cleavage is moderate, and anything that has define breasts is not general, I've gone from having 10 gallery submissions marked as general down to maybe 4 marked as general...and if I followed the rules to a T, you'd be seeing only one thing.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN TO ME THOUGH???
It means you'll probably have to change your filters on FA to actually allow yourself to see anything that isn't general...literally, you now need to make changes to your account (oh no!) so you can see all the goodness that I would be uploading...
but if that's the main issue and you're following me, why haven't you done that anyways?

you may be mistaken...but then again, nothing is marked as explicit now xD a couple things that PROBABLY should be listed as mature or explicit totally fit into the moderate category

I'm actually surprised they didn't change them sooner to be honest. Guess I better go through my gallery again and make changes though - I think I flagged 'em right but never can be too sure.

I still agree with the changes. Videogames can be rated T for suggestive themes when most people don't even consider them. But still, like I just said to a certain popufur I hope I don't have the disgrace of seeing again... Would an ass-pinup picture be suitable for a 9-year-old, even if the genitals and anus aren't drawn? Besides, teenagers (from 13 to 18) and young adults are the largest age groups to use the internet, so it shouldn't represent a problem.
A change in the content rating policies isn't going to make me leave, and I'm certainly not going to go out there and say that FA is a better place, because anyone with a piece of empathy and social awareness knows that that's not true.

oh, i highly agree on everything you just said. I'm not saying that this change is bad. I'm just saying that it should be tweaked slightly.
plus, it kinda feels weird taking certain pics that have cleavage and marking them as mature despite the fact that countless cartoons have featured a male character dressing as a convincing, VERY busty and voluptuous female. Cleavage in Looney Tunes is ok but not herefor certain age groups... wot?

I see all your submissions :v Because I see everything. No filters. I think as long as you have an account you can see everything up to moderate automatically, unless I am mistaken.
