Part of the thing that I think keeps me from drawing as much as I would like is that my current style takes so long to produce. Last night I drew up a little memorial piece for Casey Kasem featuring Scooby (which can be seen on my Tumblr http://lavasplit.tumblr.com/ ) and came to the conclusion that I'm just trying too hard. I busted that piece out in under an hour, when my normal style takes anywhere from a couple hours to a few days. So, I may do some experimenting here and see what I can drum up that's a bit more cartoony.
