My PSP works! by GuzzleMuzzle

(It's the 3000 model.).

This morning I tried doing one simple thing to see if it still works: I plugged it into an AC outlet with the new charger I bought several months ago (before my family moved to where I live now), and just tried to turn it on. It came on, but the power indicator doesn't turn orange when it's charging nor green when it's powered on and not charging.

Several months ago, in the place I used to live in, we had a plumbing problem. There was water everywhere. I think some of it got into my PSP, but I'm not sure since it was on my table. It was fairly wet, though. I only vaguely remember the details of what happened, but as for my old charger cable, it's pretty much shorted out. I think it was on the floor. At least I have a new one, and it's better than the old one by far.

I took a moment to play test it just to see if there were any discrepancies. I loaded up a game, and at first it would press the PS button (the far lower left button with the Playstation logo on it) when I didn't press it. I wiggled it a bit and it did that a bit more, and then I pressed the PS button myself, and it stopped doing that. It hasn't arbitrarily "pressed itself" since.

Back indoors from mowing our big lawns with a functional PSP 3000 - the best part of my day besides the fact that today is also my mother's birthday, meaning my nieces, sister, and nephew will be all over my PS3. Cake, another unnecessarily huge meal ( not complaining ), and me schooling everyone on "how to VS style fighting game"... XD <333
