Well, I woke up this morning, and had to get a CT scan and an X-Ray. I was told that as long as everything looked good, I'd be able to go home. About two or so hours later, my nurse comes back. I'm told everything looked great, so, after having picked up prescription for pain meds, I got to go home.
After arriving, I did some looking around on FA and chatting with a couple friends, before posting a couple pics online. I then decided I was going to attempt a nap, to try and rest more. This turned out to be a mistake. Upon attempting to lie down, the minor pain I had in my abdomen almost immediately became excruciating. I couldn't stay laying down without sharp pain.
I called up my nurse and left a message. She got back to me about half an hour ago, and apparently that pain is normal and should subside in a few days. Basically, my body had gotten used to the minimal fluid flow that was going through my old tubes inside me, so now that it had new clean tubes, everything is rushing though my body at a much faster rate which is causing the pain.
I was told this will only last a few days, until the fluid cane slow itself down, but until it does, I'll have to sleep sitting up for a few days, which for me is really hard to do.
