Any music makers out there? by EmilyThePenguin

well. I REALLY want to get into making electronic music. (blame the brony fandom for that).

I've had FL Studio for a few years, but I've never done much with it because I feel like I don't know how to make a completed song..

Does anyone have any advice? tutorials? recommended websites?

I just feel so lost jumping into something I know basically nothing about...

I'm learning that playing an instrument is DRASTICALLY different from making music.

Any music makers out there?

        Should totally go for it. Maybe even muck around in your program some and see what you come up with? Though I can understand new programs being really overwhelming at first. |D

          I know how to use the program, I just.. don't know how to do the music part.

            Maybe start with a beat? Might be able to work up from there if you've got a tempo down, you know?
