Still in need of voices by BobbyThornbody

Doing a re-post of this journal just in case it got overlooked by people yesterday when I posted two journals back to back. I really need these voices because this is the first chapter of the story. I can't move the story forward without them, and I don't want to have to provide the voices myself.

i mentioned quite a while back that I might need some voices for my new audio story, and, since I've begun writing the scripts for the story finally, I figured now was the best time time to put a call out to anyone interested. The voices I'm asking for now are for the first chapter of the story. I would prefer people who have wanted to do a voice for us, but have not yet had the chance.

I need a voice for the restaurant's Previous Owner. This character can either be male or female. This character will have multiple lines, but for now, please just read the following sample line:

"How about we go to lunch and work out the details?"

I also need the voices of two males and two females to have a short conversation that occurs before the song in the chapter. Simply record the line below for the character you wish to play. These voices should sound like they in their upper teen to young adult area. They will only be one line each.

Jack: Do you really think it’s true? That Wally Wolven actually owns this place?

Kate: It’s gotta be true. I mean how else to you explain the constant chatter about him here?

Mark: Good point... Wonder if he gives any performances?

Robin: I have a feeling we’re about to get our answer... Look!

If you would like to audition for these parts, send me a wav or mp3 of you reading the line as the character. Please make it as high quality as you can--no background noise or room reverb, not clipping or too soft.

Email it with your FA name to bobbythornbody@yahoo.com. Please respond by Saturday. I reserve the right to do a selection before then if the voice is right, so, the earlier you submit the better your chance.

If I pick you as the voice of the restaurant's previous owner, I will e-mail you the script so that you can record the remaining lines. If I pick you as a voice for the shorter conversation, I will e-mail you the script so you can determine whether or not, after reading it, if you want to re-do your line to make it sound better for the actual script.

Thanks, and good luck.
