As convenient as it is to get half or all payment up front for a commission, I just don't feel I have the personal self discipline to complete orders in a timely manner if I already have the payment.
Like I still complete them, sure-- but just much more slowly.
With the payment dangling in front of me, it really forces me to buckle down and work for it and I think I prefer that since it motivates me and doesn't allow me to stagnate at all.

Also I've had some issues with my vision lately-- or just generally haven't felt well-- so there's that??
Like I finally got a new pair of glasses (after 5 years) since I was starting to get headaches, but now I'm adjusting poorly to the new pair-- and it doesn't help that I think there's something wrong with the right lens so I'll probably need to get it readjusted erhjkerhjgrjthERHgjth
