News and future pricelist

Week has been a mix of slowness and activity. I managed to complete a couple of commissions(one of which still need to be posted) while there has been negotiations for others which is good. The month of april has been extremely hard, but truth be told that was partly self-fulfillingly so due to what I'm starting to be aware has been a bit of a case of a burnout. Though I'm, even if slowly, getting a better idea of what I can and cannot work on easily and been experimenting with ways to bolster my creativity and focus. Sometimes with success, sometimes without much.
'm still roughly maintaining my reserves to the level they were, for lack of growth so there's at least that. And with taxes done, a lot of paperwork stress is now sitting behind me even if there are still some in front of me(for which I'll have to try to get a chat with a friend of my family who is also an accountant for my father. Since my father is himself an independent worker, that is something that could help me with a variety of things).

This said, today I am working on some sketches and doodle practices as I'm looking at my current prices estimate list and trying to get something more official and, specifically, more precise made.

The future pricelist, as it stands, should include both prices for various types of works as well as, more importantly, adjustments for the likes of extra detailed characters, backgrounds or additional characters. I was hesitant to return to such a system, but until I find a way to streams without my computer crashing, this will have to go.

I'm also further musing about theme weeks, and ideas for a variety of themes which should be both enjoyable and fun to work or muse on for both commissioners and artist. During such weeks, a special rebate would be given to commissions which are within the week's theme. Hence why I'm trying to develop a pricelist with more fixed prices, so that these could be more easily adjusted when there are such theme weeks.

In other news, once I will be finished with current commissions, I will try to finish what raffles rewards I still owe. I'm still not certain yet if I will be continuing with the raffles system in favor of something more direct however, or something else entirely. I realized that, after a while, I found myself quickly overwhelmed especially when streaming became impossible. Just some more musings, in anyways.

Edit: Note that I will add theme weeks only when I have a defined pricelist with clear fixed prices going.

Krita Gemini

On another front, I recently got Krita Gemini off Steam recently, after deciding against purchasing a rather costly game I'd decided that the money would be better used for things that can help with artwork rather than a distracting game which would have costed me even more.

So far, I've only toyed a bit with the software, but I'm not disappointed in the purchase. While I don't know yet if I'll be producing fully rendered image in the software alone, so far it has proved rather neat to produces some rather quick doodles of varied types that help with the concept phase of different things. I certainly can picture myself experimenting more with it in the future.

Do expect to hear(and see!) more about this later on!
