Thinking of splitting my account. by Dogson

I've been thinking of perhaps I should split my account to one SFW and a NSFW. I've done that in FA and it has worked pretty well there, but I don't know how well it would play out here on weasyl.

Good idea or bad idea, any suggestions?..

Thinking of splitting my account.

A couple folks use the friend option, submitting NSFW as viewable by friends only and inviting anyone who wants to see it to add you. Lets you know how big your fanbase is as well I suppose.

hmm, interesting. At the same time I don't mind stranger viewing it, it's more like as a "go here if you wish to view this, or stay here to play it safe" But I'll consider your suggestion, thanks!

I like that Weasyl offers folders so you can separate different types of art.

The friend idea above is a great idea too!

You're right. I keep forgetting all the time that this isn't FurAffinity. Still not sure about that friend thing since I manly see this as an art-community, not as a deviations of facebook, I mean that in no disdained matter, don't get me wrong, perhaps I need to start getting more active here before I'll make the decision on the only-friend-view

I think if you go into the settings for folders, you can set any folder to not notify followers of new submissions to it. So you can still tuck nsfw stuff away but still have it available for those interested.
All depends on how you prefer to organize, I guess. :>

I've also been thinking of just throw all my adult stuff away here.. strangley, but quite pleasantly, my general art has received a lot of positive reactions here then my adult art. If FA would ultimatly go bottoms up, I might just start a tumblr-blog

tumblr is also good.. sounds like a stable plan.
