When it rain it pours by LudoCrow

It's a beautiful day. actually, despite the title.

Very sunny.

Normally, I was supposed to go to my grandfather's land, since it is now maple syrup season.
Sadly, I won't. I don't want to get into too much details(especially when it is unrelated to the panic attack of yesterday) but there is a large conflict on the father's side of my family. Each holidays, every years, it has grown worst. I'm starting to dread the eventual "succession war" so to speak.

In anyways, I'll be spending the day with my grandmother instead, who is too physically and emotionally ill because of it to go to the sugar shack today, so that with me and my sister she has someone to spend her day with without fear of those people who've hurt her amongst my father's siblings using the time my grandfather is away on the land to harass her further.

I pray other folks don't have to deal with this kind of things in their own families.

On the good side I'd go "expect some more traditional art to be posted soon" since my sister requested I bring some sketchbooks, but sadly my scanner is on the fritz so it might take a while.

I'm sorry you have to deal with family issues like that, and sadly-- I can relate. There are essentially two warring factions in my family, for horrible reasons that I will not publicly say, and sadly all of us in the younger generations have had to deal with the fallout from their drama. I try to avoid it at all costs. :/ sighs I thought I was the only person who had to deal with this kind of thing.

Just crap that keeps dragging on year after year, always worsening.
