Hey all, I've been a bit quiet, but I've been drawing lots. Mostly just finishing up the last two commissions in my queue and powering through comic work. I've also been trying to finish up all the odds and ends in my WIP folder, because having those hanging over my head space feels like I'm trying to get creative in a really messy room, and I'm tired of it. So expect quite a bit of art uploaded real soon!

I also realized something, in that when I don't check my inbox on art sites regularly, I get less inspired to draw myself. I hadn't realized how much I depend on the inspiration of others to get creative! I let it go for a bit, not wanting to spend too much time doing things that aren't productive, but I ended up shooting myself in the foot and feeling uninspired. Now I know!

Also also, I finally took the time to look up what kind of music I liked that my dad would always listen to when I was a kid. I didn't grow up around most popular music (example, I had no clue who Elton Jon was until two years ago, when Toby took me to a live concert because I had apparently committed a crime against the world), but yeah, that doesn't mean I don't know any music. My dad listened to a lot of Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Alice in Chains, etc. I don't know the names of the songs, and I can't sing to most of them, but when I hear the music, it makes me feel really nostalgic and good. I was watching Supernatural, and Dean Winchester's entire cassette collection is pretty much the music of my youth, so I've been looking it up and having a blast, ha ha.

So yeah, once I get myself cleaned up with commissions and WIPs and comic work, I'll be back to streaming regularly and doing my thing. Just need to clean my art room before you all come over.
