It's no secret; Jennifer. Funny enough, though... I am old enough now that I have literally been living with folks that I met online for almost half my life, so I respond to "Nam" just as fast as my real name.

Full time artist, of the "Freelance" flavor. I spend about 60% of my time doing paid work and the other 40% doing stuff to sell. This other 40% is the scary part but I like doing it so hey.

What do you do in your spare time?

Chickens, gardening, hiking, hunting, cooking.

What do you like about yourself?

Honestly, not very much. I guess my hands are kinda neat, I can make my veins dance. It makes Eld scream.

What do you dislike about yourself?

Most things. Trying to get better about this. I don't hate my life, I just am very critical of myself.

What did your friends notice about you when they first met you?

I am honestly not sure! When I am at shows, the most common comment I get is surprise over my height, I think.

Agnostic.

Do you drink?

Literally, yes, every day, water and tea. In the nature of the question though, I do occasionally have some spirits. I like a little wine now and then and am at heart a whiskey girl. I don't drink often and hate feeling drunk, so I just sip like a weakling.

Do you smoke?

No, never directly. I grew up and lived with smoking parents and I developed a very distinct dislike for it (secondhand), especially after I had pneumonia for a year..

What are your major fears?

At this point in life? People dying. Honestly, just the thought that my loved ones are getting older-- my folks are getting older-- augh.

Do you have any dreams or goals?

Sure, but nothing big. I used to think I wanted to be a Famous Artiste, and would aspire to be as well known as ... oh, Robert Bateman. Now I know I am being very silly and no longer aspire to that. I'm content enough just making enough money to survive. Anything beyond that is just extra frosting on the cake. That's a bad metaphor, I don't like frosting. Anything beyond that is just extra juice on the steak. There.

Yes.

Who's your best buddy?

I have a few. Vannie, Rah, Kyn, I am looking at you. Also Eld, Khu, and possibly my chickens. Das is my cockatiel boyfriend so he doesn't count.

What's your favorite dish?

This is impossible to answer. I love so many foods! Sushi, Rogan Josh, Tom Kha, Larb, Yabada (also known as Dolmas, grapeleaves), Safsouf (tabouli), a beautiful rare venison tenderloin, a fresh black tomato, ahhhhh I cannot stop. I love so many things!

Tea, water.

Green, most shades, especially earthy ones.

If you had a super power, what would it be?

I think, probably the ability to shapeshift. But that's a tough one.

What's your favorite movie?

I think LOTR; I really like other movies for other reasons, but there is something about LOTR that lets me get really lost in it for days. Probably because the extended versions are so freakishly long, and the world is so rich and beautiful and natural, and the shock of returning to reality when they are over is a little profound, to me.

What's your least favorite food?

I've grown to really dislike packaged, processed foods. I also can't stand bell peppers; I want to like them, but they are the only veggie that will give me an auto gag reflex. x_x;

What's the last meal you want before you die?

The heart of my enemy. NO REALLY I don't know. Anything that I liked, as long as I was with people and/or critters I love.

What do you drive and what would you really like to drive?

I am one of those freaks that does not drive. I'd be less afraid to pilot an aircraft than a car, heaven help me.

What is your most disliked bug?

Bedbugs. I've never had to deal with them, but they scare the crap out of me.

What pet peeves do you dislike the most?

I have a huge rageboner for: Outdoor cats (exception: actual barn cats), people who let their dogs run, especially in my yard (exception: very well trained dogs, and places where such activity is acceptable), assholes in general, intentional cruelty to people and/or animals. I am pretty mellow about most things.

What do you dislike in life?

Much of society in the US. Money and power grabbing, willful ignorance. How broken our food system is, how stupid we are being about natural resources, etc.
