Quiet by Kannos
I know I've been awful quiet lately, so I figured I'd let everyone know what's up. I've been spending the last bit of time I have with my bear. In about 2 weeks he will board a flight for his home country.
It's a 1-way ticket.
This is pretty much it. I don't know if he will be back or if we will ever see each other again. It's absolutely heartbreaking, but for now I'm just trying to hold onto the little bit of time we have left and make the most of it.
So if I'm quiet, not on Skype/AIM, and not posting as often, that's why. I'll be working on stuff this week because I need to pad out my rent funds, but outside of posting art I may not be very chatty. I've said a lot of goodbyes in my lifetime, but this one is going to be the hardest and I'm dreading when the moment comes. :/

Life is a curious thing. I've been where you are at far to often than I care to admit to. So, I understand the silence that's coming from you. Times like these it's best to reflect to see where things are going to end up taking us rather than dwell on the what ifs and what nows of life. In time, things will come to light for you in terms of which way things are going to go. Finding the strength to wait for it, that's the challenge.

I'm not very articulate about these kinds of things; good luck with everything that's ahead of you, dealing with loss and everything. Hopefully some good stuff will come up for you too.

Hey don't worry about it! Sure I'm waiting on art from you but I'm not about to bust down your door to get it. If you need time to be with your bear then take that time. Thanks for letting us know; I hope you two enjoy your time together!

I at least fully understand, first hand - so make sure you enjoy the time while you can, and please try to keep the sadness out the door as much as possible; you can be sad later. Seize the day, and all that!
