Ever since I was a wee little kid. I've been a fan of the Muppets. Not as die hard or hardcore as some others, but I am a fan. Ever since I saw my first Muppet movie, The Great Muppet Caper, I've been watching them every since. From the syndication episodes of The Muppet Show, to some of the big screen releases, to Muppets Tonight on The Disney Channel during the late 90's, and even watch The Muppet Christmas Carol every Christmas. Though, since the turn of the 21st century, I've noticed The Muppets had been in a huge slump. From their embarrassing movie Muppets From Space to some of their not so flashy made for TV movies. I was beginning to worry that the days of Muppetmania was long gone. Until they did a reboot of sorts a few years ago with The Muppets.

Now, I liked the rebooted movie. I thought it was a nice tribute to their older works and The Muppet Show, but I didn't think it was as great as some of their earlier works. In my honest opinion, I think The Muppets were only good when a Henson was at the helm. The rebooted was a fun flick, but there were a few things wrong with it. The songs were forgettable. Just not very good. I know Muppet movies were known to be musicals, but I just didn't find any of the songs memorable at all. And the new Muppet, Walter, such a bland character. I know he's suppose to represent us as fans. Like if we want to be a Muppet, but he's just so bland. I just can't seem to like him. Overall, The Muppets was a fun flick, a nice tribute to their earlier works, and the third act was truly the best. But, I just didn't think it's one of their best works.

Anyways, back to the sequel. Muppets Most Wanted. It's defenetely a little better than the predicesor. The songs are better and it has some good humor. The story was pretty creative and all the right cameos were spot on. Defenetely makes me feel like The Muppets of old. Walter was used less in this flim, so that's a plus. I went with my dad who's just as big of a Muppet fan as I am and he enjoyed it. So, that's saying something.

Muppets Most Wanted is recommended to any Muppets fan young and old. :)
