Well, I'm slowly getting used to including Weasyl in my usual art perusals and uploads, so I figured I might as well get further established with an opening journal. About time, anyway!

Hi! If you aren't familiar with me from other art sites like FA or dA, my name is Mary, but I do most of my work under PhoenixBLUE Art (for general art) and Nyomi Naomh (for anthro art). You can call me Nyomi on here. I am a self-taught artist, though I'd like to acquire some formal education in the near future. I really love drawing animals and animal characters. I feel like I'm more of an illustrator type than a cartoonist or a realist/fine arts person, if that makes any sense? I JUST DRAW THE DRAWS.

I like telling stories and making tiny things. Someday I want to do a graphic novel about moth people. I am at total peace with the fact that that is weird.
