Okay, I know I haven't posted anything of note here for a while, but I'm going to give people a bit of an update on my situation. The company I was working for on contract gave me a permanent position so now I have a full time job. However my first week of stable employment has fucking loathed my fingers.
Second day on the job I'm helping a co-worker recloth some pool tables when the eight foot slate slab ends up falling on a finger and pinching it. It hurt like hell and I lost some skin, but it was perfectly manageable.
Yesterday, I'm putting together a tri-tower (a kind of candy vending machine), when one of the parts slips, falls on another finger's tip and practically smashes it open. Needless to say, I had to go to the hospital where I had to wait ALL FUCKING NIGHT to get some stitches on it. But that's Canadian Healthcare for you. I also discovered my health card had been suspended during the twenty years I lived in Portugal. Not only that, but they had no splints for the tendon that had torn, so they bandaged two of my fingers together. Anyway, I bought a splint myself and now I need to take antibiotics for this thing.
I'm having a bit of a hard time typing this, by the way. Nothing major, but this isn't fun. At all.

As for better news, I'll be finally moving into my own place this weekend, but I might not have internet right away. But still, HALLEF*CKINGLUYAH. I also have a few things I need to work on so that I might be able to upload something worthwhile.
