so one of my local friends (we actually used to work in the same shopping center :o), recently got fired, out of the blue and without warning. she's a really great artist and right now her only source of income and her only chance of paying rent is her art. her prices are very reasonable too, and she's got a few specials running right now considering the direness of her situation. if you have any cash to spend, at least take a look at her profile, you'd be helping a really cool person out and you'd get some cool art out of the exchange too!
