So I saw the lego movie... by LudoCrow

... and it was really really good. To borrow a term from Jonas and Stokerbramwell I guess you can now consider me a bregos >.>;

Unikitty was really adorable, and I must say I really didn't expect that ending and the story within the story that they pulled off.

S'all I'll say, no spoilers out of me.

So I saw the lego movie...

    Might go see this for my birthday then, I've yet to hear a bad thing about it.

      It is indeed a very nice movie :)

    Saw it a week or so ago, was definitely not disappointed.

      I think it's the only movie where I didn't utterly hate Will Ferrell. And "that one plot twist" scene that involved him and that character unseen in the movie until then was rather awesome and heartwarming as well.

      Also I need to do a sort of unikitty fanart now, amongst other things.

    I saw it. Everything was awesome!

    I was expecting a movie full of childish humor and stupid jokes and got one of the best films I've seen in a few years. Excellent cast, excellent writing, excellent cinematography... even some excellent action. And I agree. Will Ferrel wasn't entirely deplorable. I even liked the child actor and I usually despise those.

    Unikitty is great and so is the movie. Like, so amazing that I saw it twice in a row! I still have THAT SONG stuck in my head.

      I was having a rough week, and it was really nice of my sister to remind me there was a thursday special at my local theater. It really helped cheering me up a bit.

      S'ok. There is sadly the small matter of a couple hundred/thousand miles of distance for that ^^;
      Kind of what makes me almost sad every time I see the flights costs from Quebec to almost any conventions in the US.

      Makes me wishes if I should try to do like my father once did a couple of times and find a way to to basically drive to Plattsburg(iirc the name) in the US and take a flight from there and spare myself international prices.
