Bluh bluh by Ranohara

Sorry I haven't been posting much recently, I've been doodling a lot traditionally that I can scan and post here once some of them are colored- I'm mostly trying to figure out faces for some of my characters on an RP site 'cause it's something I've been putting off for so long ;A;

Once I get that done though I'm going to try to just... draw my characters more? Figure out which ones I wanna keep as main drawing ones, which ones will be put on the backburner- I have so, so many, only a small fraction have refs right now and I've narrowed them down to like... 50 or so possible characters? And I know a few I absolutely want to keep as drawing characters but after that it's all kinda a jumbled mess >n>

SO YEAH. I'll be working on some of that hopefully c:

    I know what you mean. Most of my characters I design for stories I'm writing at the time. Like when I joined FA, I was drawing my sci-fi furries a lot...then last year I drew Soren a lot since I was writing a new story with him. Now I'm developing a story for Wabi...so, I'm drawing him more often.

      Thank you! It's a lot more difficult than it seems, some of my characters in the top 50 are not ones I'd necessarily want to keep there, but a lot of people like them- and then some I adore but no one knows who they are, and they're kinda crummy RP characters. They're much better for a story in their own universe. ;n;

      That's exactly what I do though- most of the characters I have are designed with stories or RPs in mind, which doesn't help, either. xD Glad to know I'm not the only one with this problem though ;w;

        I think the Red Panda, who was my starship pilot, got me a lot of my initial watchers on FA...Cory Redbranch. His design was cute (and his father was a Fox...so instead of muddy red coloring, he was red-RED coloring). I still get a few watchers who are sad I don't draw him much anymore. chuckle I had a furry super sentai (Power Rangers) story going before I came to FA, and I occasionally still draw the main villain...who is a Gryphon wizard named Stephan Blackheart, but I don't believe I've drawn many of the others in nearly 10 years! lol

        I keep thinking that one of these days...I'll sit down and draw an encyclopedia of all my original characters (human or furry), just to see how many of them I've created and how much of a sketchbook it would fill up!

          I have the same thought (a lot, actually), and then I realize I'd be drawing hundreds of characters and keep shying away from it >n> My friend started making a poke-rap for them and realized there'd be some characters left over. ._.
